I'm Baaack

Actually, I haven't been gone but I certainly haven't been keeping up on my blogging. Lots of displays put out and picked up since I last posted and there is no way I'm going to get them all caught up here. Fortunately a new feature has been added - a web album, so all the pictures I take of my late night adventures can be posted for anyone who wants to check them out. I will be putting all the flocking pictures there so you can see more than just the ones that get featured in my posts. Cool.

Right at the moment, I'm splitting my attention between typing this and watching the Masters (golf, for those of you who are wondering). The course is absolutely merciless and it's pretty much still anybody's game. Oof! - ViJay just dropped one in the lake.

So you ask, other than driving around all night spreading joy, what has the Flamingess been up to? I was lured back on the the golf course by a friend. After 10 years away, I an pleased to discover my game isn't any worse (as if it could be), I still like it, and a few lessons promise to provide improvement in my game. Since I work nights, having something that actually gets me out in the daylight is good. Some weeks it seems like I don't ever see the sun.

Yesterday, HJM and I attended a dowsing class put on by one of my networking contacts, DowserShirley. I'm not ready to go out and find water or a diamond mine, but I should be able to find my lost glasses and that is bound to be a big help.

More personal news: my daughter just got married in Maui. She was planning a wedding at the end of May, but took advantage of a vacation in paradise to do the deed and avoid the stress of planning a traditional event. Good instincts.

Next week, I head off to Las Vegas for the International Sign Association trade show at the Mandalay Bay. Three days exploring all the new equipment and technology and visiting vendors. I love machines, so this will be like a long weekend in a toy store for me. Gathering up all my pennies and nickels for the trip (big gambler, NOT).

That's all for now. I'll upload the latest flaoking pictures and make another post for those. At least you, my faithful reader, know I'm still out here plying my peculiar trade.

Welcome back. Congrats on your daughter's wedding. Quick and painless is good for a wedding when so many go waaaay overboard. Happy flamigoing.

How was Vegas?? Getting warm this time of year?

Remind me to get my tail up there and hang out with you in your neck of the woods this fall...
