Where's Dorothy?

OMG!! What a day at the fairgrounds! This whole show is held in tents. Most booths are in a really big tent and when the rain and wind started we got to scramble around moving displays, literature, product, furniture, you name it, out from under leaks and away from the tent walls which were popping vigorusly. The wind gusts were strong enough for awhile that we could watch the roof beams flex as the canvas lifted in waves. And we had it good. Outside, the smaller tents were blowing over, going down like dominos. WhooHoo! Needless to say, none of us did much business Friday afternoon.

At least the cows stayed firmly planted in the birthday boy's front yard. I had visions of the sign sailing away, to be found in some neighbor's front room after crashing through the front picture window. Everything was right where we left it.
