Week of the Rooster

A few days ago it was roosters for the landlord's wife. Tonight it was roosters for Kendra.

I find it interesting how this business goes. A critter will sit, neglected and unwanted for months and then all of a sudden it hits the top 10 in popularlity. Roosters are hot right now. This is a good thing because things get dusty in the warehouse and the only way they get cleaned is in someone's yard - sprinklers or rain. But if they don;t get out of their bin, they just keep getting dustier. The roosters are looking pretty good - clean and shiny.

It's the same way for communities, not the dusty part, the popular part. We won't have a delivery in a particular area for months and months and then for several weeks it will be the destination of choice. That's fine although the transition can be a challenge. That's because it seems that the popular places have to be as far away from each other as possible. And that's why we work at night - traffic avoidance.

awww, that's sweet! I wish I'd thought of a heart-shaped arrangement of critters for my anniversary!
