Hearty, Happy Day

This birthday greeting didn't have to be in place until noon on Memorial Day. That's why you are seeing that rarest of all phenomenon, a picture taken in daylight. Even with the natural lighting, I didn't manage to capture the buzzard perched on top of the sign. Our every move was very carefully watched by Tigger (the orange tabby stretched out in the window).

Hearts - two orders in a row. From a flocker's point of view, they're a pain in the tail feathers. They're big, and slippery, and noisy, and challenging to store. As much as DBFA cringes when he knows we're hauling hearts, even he has to admit they make a wonderful display.
