I'm All Wet

Over the past 10 years, DBFA and I have experienced a remarkable and thoroughly convenient weather phenomenon during our flocking expeditions. Even when it is pissing down rain, the deluge slackens just as we pull up to the target yard and doesn't resume until we are back in the flamingomobile and on our way. This has held true through El Nino years, thunder storms and just plain crappy weather. That is, until this morning.

We are so spoiled by this that we don't even bother with rain gear, which is why we ended this morning's run looking like drowned rats. I refuse to believe that this is anything other than a mistake on the part of the weather gods and all will return to normal in short order (although a small sacrifice at the flamingo altar might be called for).
