Where's My Flock!?!

Got a call yesterday afternoon from a long time customer, Sharon, who owns the Enchanted Florist. Her daughter was so disappointed to find no flamingos in the yard for her birthday, could we deliver a belated flock? It all started several years ago, on the daughter's 16th birthday. We flocked the yard and it was such a hit that the birthday girl wanted to move the whole display into the back yard and keep it forever. The next year the flamingos were specifically requested. And again for her 18th. A couple of years ago Mom decided that perhaps the need for birthday birds had passed, but ended up requiring an emergency daytime flocking. Yesterday was the birthday girl's 22nd birthday and last night we delivered her 7th flocking. I'd appears that she isn't going to grow out if this, so I better set up a reminder for Mom to keep her out of trouble.

Seems like growing up/growing old/not outgrowing things is a running theme this week! :)
